We have come to appreciate turkeys. They have a poor reputation for brains, but we find them more engaging and interesting than chickens, if that's much of an endorsement.

The turkeys are cautiously curious. They eventually end up roosting on the back rack of a hay wagon in the back pasture instead of going into the building left open for them.
