I’m not sure how best to get all my CD reviews, so I’ll start by listing the latest purchases.

Album Artist Title Review
Jimmy Lafave Cimarron Manifesto Another Austin-ite, Jimmy Lafave looks like a guy you’d run away from as fast as you can if you met him in an alley, but he writes some of the sweetest songs. This disc is a mix of blues, alt-country, and folk. Carrie Rodriguez and Ruthie Foster back up a couple of songs. All in-in all, this CD is more subdued than a live JL performance.

  1. Hey All!
I found the new blog spot and enjoyed going back through your posting of the last few months. I miss seeing you guys and I know you are having adventures everyday with the warmer temps, hay bales, and many projects around the farm.
take care of each other! M
