It was a sweet sound to hear the tractor crank, start and turn off after replacing the solenoid!

I could then proceed to the original task, getting the blade on the tractor in preparation for snow. That to is accomplished and we are ready!

Kick-butt you did it- Funny story about my car this a.m.= went to start it and it wouldnt turn over sounded like a starter issue to me- made sute it was in gear and tried again.
no go- I then took the keys out of the car and went up the steps to the house as I was opening th door to the house- the car started yes- without the keys. So I put it in gear with a loud clunk and got it to the shop 6 miles away- by the time I got there and they opened the hood the starter was on fire- I guess on some of the Fords the ignition can stick- so that means the car kept trying to start itself over and over the whole way to the body shoppe Thank God I took it in and didn;t wait til later probably would have blown up in the parking lot- nice- real nice.
