July 15, 2007 – Saying Good-bye to Kawishiwi
The last morning we leave early and stop about an hour down the road at the Tower Cafe for breakfast.

Notice Claire’s sense of humor on the shirt she and Emma bought together. Written in upside down letters, “If you can read this, pull me back into the canoe!”

Wow, what a neat trip! I envy you the cooler temperatures and rain. I know everyone had a great time and what good training for the young ones. I wondered when you would be near civilization again and post…I have missed reading family posts. And where is the answer to the last Thing-a-majig? I am dying to find out the answer.
Welcome Home,
Darlene

I’ve dined (if you can call it that) a few times at the Tower Cafe. Many times we just walk past as we stroll Tower’s main street. Our family cabin is just a few minutes from here, so Tower is our main source of groceries and liquor.
